Summary of 2010-2011 Soccer Season

U10 Girls, U12-U16 Boys and Girls, U17 Girls Travel Teams ($355 + $25 Registration)

  • Season will run from January – end of June, with January through mid-March optional
  • A few player development sessions may be held in November and December, then 3 to 4 practices/month in January through the end of the indoor season (usually on the weekend, late afternoon/early evening), and 2 practices/week during the outdoor season.
  • Indoor practices will be held in the Manchester/Dorset area.
  • Teams will have practices and games at Riley Rink in March-April.
  • Teams will compete in both 1 and 2 day outdoor tournaments, primarily in the Albany, NY and Southern VT areas, instead of joining a formal league.  They will attend approx. 4 one day tournaments, and 2-3 two day tournaments, which may include some travel and hotel costs.  One tournament will be over the Memorial Day Weekend, and teams will enter our Green Mountain Challenge in Weston on June 19-20
  • · U16-U17 teams will enter one or more College Showcase Tournaments
  • Outdoor practice locations will be alternately held in Manchester and Weston fields.

U10 Boys, U10-U12 Girls Local Teams ($195 plus $25 Registration)

  • Season will run from January through mid-June, with January through mid-March optional
  • 3 to 4 practices/month in January through the end of the indoor season (usually on the weekend, late afternoon/early evening), and 2 practices per week during the outdoor season.
  • Indoor practices will be held in the Manchester/Dorset area.
  • Teams will have practices and games at Riley Rink in March-April.
  • Teams will play in the Greater Rutland Youth Soccer League, with approximately 6-8 games plus a season ending jamboree.
  • Outdoor practice locations will be alternately held in Manchester and Weston.

U8 Girls Local ($75 plus $25 Registration)

  • Season will run from January through early June.
  • Two practices per month during the winter months (usually on Sunday late afternoon/early evening) in the Manchester/Dorset area and one practice per week during the outdoor season.
  • Team will play friendly scrimmages against other clubs and will participate in a season ending jamboree in Burlington VT.
  • Outdoor practice locations will be alternately in Manchester and Weston fields.

Teams will have practices at Riley Rink in March-April.
