·          What to bring: A soccer ball and a drink, plus a copy of your medical insurance card if you are signing up at the fields.  New players should also bring a copy of their birth certificate.

·          Season Fees: $380 for U10-U17 travel teams, $220 for U10-U12 local teams, and $100 for U8 Girls.  Scholarship money is available.

·          Season Length: Travel team season runs from January through end of June, with January through mid-March participation optional.  Local teams season runs from January through mid-June, with January through mid-March participation optional.

In a nutshell:

·          Travel teams will play a full schedule of approximately five 1 and 2 day tournaments in the Albany, NY and  Southern VT area against the top clubs in the region.  New to the club this year is the U10 Girls travel team and an expanded number of College Showcase tournaments for our high school age teams.

·          We continue a modified schedule for high school aged teams, in order to minimize conflicts with high school sports schedules.  We work the practice and tournament schedules around the school calendars.

·          In addition to the travel teams, we offer a less expensive, local option for U10Boys and U8-U12 Girls.  Local teams will play games closer to home.  This option is designed both for players and families looking for a smaller time commitment, those involved with multiple sports, as well as those earlier in their skill development.

Benefits of Joining SVM Fusion

·          Strong instruction from experienced and dedicated coaches. Many of our coaches have played at the highest levels of competitive soccer, and have many years of coaching experience.  We continue to “raise the bar” for our coaching and are offering an extremely strong pool of coaches who have played at the college, high school, and professional levels.  Check our website for the final list.

·          Many of our players go on to play at high levels of organized soccer, including high school varsity, college, and the Olympic Development Program (ODP).

·          Compete against top-level competition.  Our teams will play against the top teams in our region, including the strongest clubs in the Albany NY Capital Region.

·          Exposure to new players and new friends.   In a word: FUN!  We welcome players from all towns in the Southern Vermont and surrounding New York area, and have players from over a dozen towns participating in our club.
